Teachers & schools

We’re all aware that young people are facing new pressures and opportunities faster than anyone can keep up. They have access to experiences and objects that we could only dream of, and many are already making positive changes to our world, and yet …

There are times when every teacher feels the disconnect between what and how we’re expected to teach, and what we know makes sense in the real world.

How many times have you felt, if only I could … encourage students to be more curious … give them better ‘real world’ experiences of my subject … help them more with social and emotional skills … work more creatively with pupils and other teachers … inspire them to be more inventive … turn the curriculum on its head …

And how many times have you heard your students make statements like “Why I am I even learning this, I’m not going to need it when I leave school?” …

We’re on a mission to change this, with your help!

We’re coming together – as educators, parents, young people, policy makers, business people, creative practitioners and in other roles – to work out how we can make sure every young person can learn, succeed and shape a better future.

We want to give you information and opportunities that’ll help you play your part and help the young people you teach and care about. For now, you can:

Stay in touch – sign up for our enews and follow us on Facebook and Twitter so you can receive information and opportunities

Keep informed – through the news and events, advice and resources we’ll be sharing

Tell people – small actions, particularly conversations, can make a big difference. So do talk to friends and family about what’s happening and why it’s important!
